I read Soul Contracts. Before you go running, hear me out. It’s not crystal balls and tea leaves (though I am a believer in that). No, Soul Contracts are more in line with astrology and numerology. There’s a method to the reading that’s reliably structured and predictable.
Soul Contracts are another way of learning yourself, rooted in the belief that your soul has had many incarnations. Yes, you’ve likely been here before. There’s an entire scientific department at the University of Virginia dedicated to researching past lives and other ethereal elements of human consciousness. I’ll write a post on that soon because it’s fascinating.
Ok, here’s where you have to expand your mind a bit, but stay with me cause it gets good.
In your many lifetimes, you experienced things that shape who you are in this lifetime. When you chose to come back and experience life again, you had a hand in deciding how you wanted your soul to grow, or what lessons you want to learn. Think big picture here: “I want to learn how to love myself,” or “I want to learn to connect to others.”
An important caveat about free will:
I do not believe, nor condone the idea that people who experienced violence, life-changing traumas, or any other condition chose that life or experience for themselves. If you see or listen to a spiritual practitioner who claims such nonsense, run. They are bad for you and the community.
You have free will, and so does everyone you meet in this life. You can choose to lean into the experiences that change you, or not. For better or worse.
The methodology of Soul Contracts is rooted in ancient mysticism. The idea is that your contract is stored in your name through vibration and sound. I wrote about the power of sound and frequency in a previous post and the science that supports its impacts on the human body and water. Each letter in your name can be associated with a sound (or frequency), which can then be read in your soul contract. Here’s what mine looks like:
Each aspect of the chart above is aligned with a (numerical) energetic frequency that encapsulates a certain element of you.
Soul Contracts reveal your full range of traits; from good to bad, and from learning to expert. They define who you are now, who you were then, who you were in past lives, and who you can ultimately become. It’s not static in its definitions and is something you can work through, throughout your life.
Interpreting your contract does involve a bit of intuition and experience. I spend time meditating and connecting with what I’ve learned in your contract in my readings.
I’ll end with this: If you work with spiritual practitioners of any kind please remember that you have free will. Take everything you learn as a drop of knowledge, not a waterfall. I love working with spiritualists, but they are singular tools in a box of many. I recommend having many methods of self-discovery, growth, and improvement in your toolbox.
